We adhere to a Safe Child and Safe Church Policy.
First-time visitors to our children's programs always ask their parents to come back again. They love it here! Attentive teachers, fun activities, comfortable relationships, and engaging lessons all come together in our children's activities.
Infants and toddlers receive special attention from a paid Nursery Director, which gives the little ones a familiar face each week. Volunteer adults and youth assist with child care. We follow careful screening and safety procedures to protect children.
Most Sundays kids begin at 10:30am in worship with their families, where they experience the gathered church family. After a brief lesson geared to them ("Children's Moments"), children ages 4-5th grade are escorted downstairs for their Sunday School Program. Children are currently learning about the Book of Acts. Acts is all about ACTION! We are learning about whose action. It all starts with the Holy Spirit and grows from there. In January we learned about Peter and John, preaching, praying and healing. In February, we will move on to Stephen, Philip and Paul. What were their actions? We can’t wait for you to hear all about it during Worship each Sunday! Sunday School concludes at 11:30, about the time worship concludes. Parents are always welcome to participate with their children if they are more comfortable or children may remain in the worship service with their parents.
"If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well." - Romans 12:7
